It’s the 6th annual, low-hoop (9ft), basketball tournament for real estate professionals! Join us as we raise funds for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Texas and network with the CRE industry!

Great food from a local food truck and craft brews and wine will be provided for the crowd.  Kids are FREE! They will be sure to love the bounce house, face painter, and activities!

Who

Join NAIOP Developing Leaders of North Texas and fellow members of the commercial real estate industry as we join together to raise funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas!

Tickets are available at the door for for spectators and fans. Entrance fee of $5 (donations accepted, all proceeds to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Dallas) includes food and beverage from our generous sponsors and concession at The Sportsplex.

Kids are always free! We will have plenty of fun activities (bounce house, face painter, petting zoo (weather permitting) and sports and lawn games) for the kiddos!

Where

Low Hoop is proud to announce this year’s new location at The Sportsplex, North Texas’ premiere indoor sports facility. Conveniently located near the NTTA and 635 intersection at 5702 Alpha Road, Dallas, Texas, The Sportsplex will offer a great indoor location for our tournament!

WHEN

GAMES START PROMPTLY AT 1PM. This year’s tournament will feature a short opening ceremony at 12:45pm. Games run until the championship rounds are completed and we crown the 2019 winner!

While the game play schedule will be posted closer to the actual event, Low Hoop will require teams who are scheduled for 1pm games to be fully checked in by 12:45pm. For games starting after 1pm, teams will be required to be fully checked in no less than 30 minutes prior to tip off.

Team Sign-up

Entry fee per team is $850, covers a six-person roster, and includes 10 extra tickets for your guests.  Kids are always free!  Players will also receive reversible jerseys for tournament play and souvenir t-shirts.

Team Info

Limited to 20 teams:  Men’s Bracket (16 teams max), and Coed-Bracket (4 teams max)

Entry fee per team is $850, covers a six-person roster, and includes 10 extra tickets for your guests.  Kids are free!  Players will also receive reversible jerseys for tournament play and souvenir t-shirts.

This year’s tournament will feature the Men’s Bracket on 9ft hoops and the Co-Ed Bracket on 10ft hoops due to venue limitations.

Rules and Requirements

  • 4-on-4 games, full-court, scoring by ones and twos, games limited to 20 minutes

  • Each team plays a minimum of three games
    After the initial three games, the top four teams from each of the A and B brackets will advance to their respective 4-team playoff.
    The Coed bracket playoff only consists of one Coed championship game.

  • Referees will be present

  • CHECK IN BEGINS AT 12PM: TEAMS MUST BE FULLY CHECKED IN BY 12:45PM

  • OPENING CEREMONY 12:45PM

  • TIP OFF PROMPTLY AT 1PM

  • 6-person rosters for Men’s Brackets - at least four players must be in the commercial real estate industry

  • 6-person rosters for Coed teams to allow for one male sub and one female sub

  • Coed teams must have two women on the court during play
